When a righteous Queen is in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked person rules, the people groan.
We give thanks to God for the blessed life and reign of our Queen who brought rejoicing and celebration to the people.
The queen establishes the land by justice,
But he who receives bribes overthrows .
We give thanks to the Lord for our exemplary Queen called to serve her people.
14 The Queen who judges the poor with truth,
Her throne will be established forever.
